Context
Neighborhood retail, such as pharmacies and corner stores, still closes a lot of sales on WhatsApp. The customer sends a loose message; staff look up price in another system, copy the amount, assemble the order in chat, and collect payment elsewhere. It works until it does not: threads get lost, quantities get confused, and nobody has a clear view of who is waiting to pay.
Problem
Orders and catalog lived inside WhatsApp threads, with no unified code, no status, and no panel for the team. Connecting the number, importing products, and knowing a new order arrived depended on memory and staring at the phone. To run structured sales on the channel customers already use, the store needed a bridge between chat and daily operations.
What was built
Separô is a Hikari Hub platform that links the store's WhatsApp to a web panel. On the customer side, a guided flow: they name the product (brand or keyword), get options in a list, confirm item and quantity, and can request a human at any time.
On the store side, the panel centralizes orders with code, amount, timestamp, and status (for example, awaiting payment), plus sections for products, stock-outs, settings, and portal. An activation checklist walks through a few steps: connect WhatsApp, import the catalog, turn on mobile alerts, and receive the first order.
The live pilot runs with Drogaria do Centro: catalog search inside the conversation and orders visible in the panel as soon as the customer confirms.
In practice

Technical integrations
- WhatsApp Business for end-customer conversations
- Web panel for orders, products, and store settings
- Catalog import for name or brand search inside chat
- Mobile alerts for new orders
- Handoff to a human agent from the chat
What is no longer manual
Building orders only by copying prices from the ERP into WhatsApp. Relying on memory for what is missing or unpaid. Having no single list of orders awaiting payment.
Hikari's role today
Separô is under active development at Hikari Hub: an in-house product with a pilot rollout at a partner store, ongoing WhatsApp integration maintenance, and continuous work on the panel and order flow.
